Where can you skateboard in Prospect Park?

If you live near Prospect Park, there are plenty of sidewalks and pathways to surf. Our favorite spot is the new landscaping around the Lakeside center since it’s a nice smooth surface. The statue in the grove to the north of the ice rink is a bona fide skate spot with ledges, steps and a manny pad.

How much are ice skates?

Prices range from below $150 for recreational skates, and upwards of $150 for skating classes ice skates. Advanced level figure skates with a better level of support for $250 and higher. Whether you participate in figure skating, or ice hockey, or want to skate for fun.

How much is the Brooklyn Zoo?

Admission. Children under 3: Free Children (3–12): $6.95 Adult (13-64): $9.95 Seniors (65+): $7.95 All tickets must be purchased in advance.

Can I fly my drone in Prospect Park?

The use of toy or model planes, kites, and drones is not permitted in Prospect Park. In Brooklyn, operation of these planes, kites, and drones is permitted at Calvert Vaux Park and Marine Park.

Is the LeFrak Center at Lakeside still open?

Is there a water play area in Prospect Park?

Prospect Park has plenty of ways for youth to keep cool on hot, summer days. Many of the Park’s playgrounds offer water features, and the newest destination, the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, is the home of the Park’s largest water play area, Splash Pad.
