What do employers look for on a resume?

Employers will indicate the skill sets they are looking for in their job descriptions. Look closely at the posting, and if you have the required skills be sure to list them. In general, there are two types of skills: soft skills and hard skills.

Is it bad to have a lot of jobs on a resume?

And while that’s totally acceptable, if your resume is dominated by short-term stints exclusively, and you have a pattern of leaving positions regularly, hiring managers may see you as a job hopper. That’s a label you want to avoid; companies generally don’t like to hire job hoppers.
