Can you walk up Mount floyen?
Mount Fløyen has many nice hiking opportunities and is a perfect starting point for a wonderful walk in the city mountains. Many of our hiking trails are easily accessible by pram. The trip around lake Skomakerdiket is also suitable for wheelchairs.

How to find us
- On foot. Just a few minutes walk from “Bryggen” and the Fish Market.
- By bus. The nearest bus stop is called «Torget» and form there it is only a few minutes walk.
- By boat. From “Strandkaiterminalen” port there is a few minutes walk.
- By car. The closest parking house is Rosenkrantz parking 250 metres away.
What body of water can you see when you are at the fløibanen funicular?
About 10 minutes walk from the station on top, you find the lake Skomakerdiket. Try the Norwegian “svele” and something to drink, with a beautiful view over the water.
