Holden sent the following statement to Drive on Wednesday: “Fitting VE wheels onto a VZ [or earlier model Commodore] is not recommended or condoned by GM Holden as it raises some safety concerns as there are two major differences in the wheels.”

How big of a tyre do I need for a VZ Commodore?
Having said that, many of our customers do choose to go big and our range of 20 inch tyres are definitely to go-to size. Width wise, depending on the exact edition of VZ you have, the widths vary anywhere between 205 to 245 so be sure to check the numbers on your tyre wall to be sure you’re getting the correct width.
