Are Alnico pickups good?
Alnico V. The strongest of the three; more powerful in tone and response. Its greater output makes it a good choice for bridge pickups, over which there is usually a smaller amount of string vibration. Good for an aggressive, punchy sound.
Are Irongear pickups good?
They’re great pickups, and they’re sure to make a difference to your Epiphone. I’ve only tried the Steamhammer and Hammerhead, and I have a feeling they’d be too hot for you. Stick with an Alnico if you can.

Who is Alan Entwistle?
