Is Barricane beach cafe open?
The cafe is open most days from 10 unless it is raining! We serve our lunch menu until 4pm which includes baguettes, baps, ciabattas, wraps, cream teas and cake. Along with hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks. From 5-7 we serve our Sri Lankan rice and curry everyday depending on the weather!
Are dogs allowed on Barricane Beach?
Barricane, just next door to Woolacombe, allows dogs between October and April, but they must be on a lead between the months of May and September. Dogs are allowed everywhere on Putsborough, except for the far left of the beach from Easter until November 1.
How do I get to Barricane Beach?
Walk from the car parked to your right ( not to the sea) and walk along the cliffs, great views. Keep walking along here and follow the path, then you will see a white hut with arrow to Barricane Beach with, follow the path down and you are there.

Who owns putsborough beach?
Putsborough Sands is the name given to the southern part of Woolacombe Sands. It is a sandy beach with some rock pools, protected by Baggy Point from the prevailing southwesterly winds. The beach is privately owned and the car park is reached by a narrow road with passing places.
