Using a spray bottle of clean water, spray glove to be cleaned. Get glove nice and wet. Using opposite hand, work water into outer shell of glove to help remove dirt and debris. Rinse with spray bottle of water.

Wristlets, generally made of Nomex, are close fitting to the wrist but some firefighters prefer gauntlets as wristlets can already be part of their turnout coat sleeves. Work gloves should be washed on a gentle cycle: wash textile firefighting gloves at 60° C and leather firefighting gloves at 30° C. Close any fastenings, particularly velcro fastenings, and remove carabiners before washing.

What’s the difference between regular and cadet fire gloves?

This glove is in compliance UL’s 2018 certification. CADET SIZING: Cadet sizes have the same hand size as the regular size glove, but the finger lengths are about 1/2″ shorter than the regular size glove.
