Scripps, which has a more stringent policy than the other colleges, is often assumed to be a dry campus. Scripps also hosts events where alcohol is served if the events are approved by the Student Activities and Residential Life Office.

Our dorms have single rooms, doubles, triples, a couple quads, and 5- and 7-person suites. We have no housing divided by class year, so you get to meet and learn from all different class years. Before starting at Scripps, each student fills out a housing survey about their living habits.

The party scene at Scripps is pretty non-existant but there are parties at the other campuses almost every night of the week. I think most people go out 2 or 3 times a week. Thursday and Saturday are the biggest nights. Weekday partying doesn’t happen often but is available.
