Blade Replacement Instructions

  1. Remove the retaining clip by sliding it off the motor shaft. Use a small screwdriver in the slot in.
  2. Remove the blade and the drive washers. Discard the old retaining clip and drive washers.
  3. Reinstall the drive washers and blade. When re-installing the retaining clip, be sure the open.

Position the probe close to the coolant inlet (top of radiator) Insert the probe until there is about an inch remaining outside of the core. Don’t insert and remove the probe in the same position several times. Route the temperature probe and all wires before mounting the controller to make sure everything will reach.

Yes, you can technically run a pusher and puller fan in conjunction. Because of that, the mechanical fan can only pull so much air through the radiator at idle and low speeds, making an additional pusher fan a useful addition.
