Do trail cameras scare big bucks?

Absolutely no question about it, Yes trail cameras could spook deer! Before you go sell the camera you just got look closely at that statement. A very mature cautious deer may be onto you and every move your making with that camera. Each deer could react differently if they know a trail camera is present.

How do you get a deer in front of a trail camera?

Hang a trail camera in front of a pile of corn or a mineral block and you’re almost guaranteed to get an SD card full of deer photos. It used to be that simple.

If you locate a buck’s bedding area the last thing you want to do is walk into it and hang a trail camera. The better option would be to hang your camera on the fringes in order to locate preferred travel routes to and from the presumed hiding location.
